another autumn playlist

A bit nostalgic, a bit lively, a bit me!
A playlist to set you in the perfect autumn mood!
Just listen and enjoy!

Sometimes I wonder how I can live in this dark part of autumn. How? I need sun, I need light! It makes me sad when the night lasts for so long. I need happy music now (more than in the other months)

Milo Greene - 1957

Do you feel it in your head? Do you feel it in your ears? Do you feel it in your feet? This song is so positive! It brings spring to every cloudy and rainy autumn day. It takes me away!

Effi - Distance

You probably thought I set the most happy song at the begining, but here is Effi! This song makes me think about all those friends of mine who are living far away. It is definitely not depressing it's full of hope and happiness.

Johnny West - Tears Baby

This song has soul! No more to say here ;)

Milky Chance - Stolen Dance
And now a somehow psychedelic song. It's so aaaaaaa I can't say it with words but you probably know what I mean. If not - watch the clip to it.

Did you like this post?
Tell me about it with a comment.

Latest love: Clean Bandit - Dust Clears

I can't write down all the emotions which this song wakes up in me while listening to it. It's like a spring flower efflorescence in my heart. It's an explosion of positive feelings bouncing through my brain.

The song is a surprisingly good combination of electronic and classical music. The singing parts are so catchy, each in its own way. The women voice is so clean, so clear and the manly voice rough like someone would be scratching on your ears. They are opposites in a fantastic way. And finally this violin part (and piano sounds) coming between all this drumming beats.

Not only the song itself is a masterpiece. The music video is a chef-d'oeuvre too. You can see a creative idea in it. It's not like all this videos of famous pop stars which just show some nice pictures but without a deeper meaning behind. For me this video shows the sense of beauty and art in really raw conditions. Nothing is accidental in this video, every shot is FOR SOMETHING.

Other song by Clean Bandit I like: A&E, Rihanna, Nightingale.

"Baby, be the class clown..."

...I'll be the beauty queen in tears
It's a new art form showing people how little we care
We're so happy even when we're smiling out of fear
Let's go down to the tennis court and talk it up like, yeah

The chorus of the Lorde song Tennis Court are going round my head for a few days now. Not only because of the lyrics. It's also about the beat. close your eyes while listening to this song and you gonna feel how it is taking you higher and higher. your mind will reach the sky. amazing lyrics, an amazing beat, an amazing voice... what's more? Lorde whose real name is Ella Yelich O'Connor comes from New Zealand. New Zealand is a 'cool' country with the kiwi birds and the citizens speaking with this beautiful accent - even better than British. so listen up! here comes Lorde.

"and you don't breathe, so you can't leave"

photo from last.fm

this shrill strange voice would probably annoy me, but it doesn't. why? if you listen to her songs once you will understand. this young lady makes the words swim in the air and you don't know the way to his heart like she does :) there is nothing I could compare her music to. the only thing I know is Alex Winston is already one of my favourite musicians I discovered this year and probably one of the best I listened to so far (in my whole live). the timbre of her voice makes her doubtlessly unique. just listen! that's the best thing you can do to feel the same as I do (cause I am listening to her album right now).

'i dance like an ill fit'

this song makes me dance every time i am listening to it and forces me to play it over and over again. it makes me want to speak with a warm synthie effect.  something in this songs drives me crazy. i am angry about it because me live isn't like this song: fresh, catchy, fast but reflective at the same time. wave machines' latest single ignites the longing of a fulfilled life, the life you dreamed about as a child. it pushes you to start living it right now or at least dance like an ill fit.
